With respect, I must strongly disagree with you. Reading a ton of stuff and having a great command of the material you read is NOT the same as being informed if you’re busy tweaking the dials so you only get the stuff that confirms your beliefs.

I’m in no way calling you ignorant — please know that I am not trying to be insulting or condescending. But unless we recognize that handing over our power to Google’s algorithm is a problem, we’re stuck.
