When I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2015, interactions with existing founders about good starting points often led to videos about “perfect pitches” that explained the essence of startups in a few minutes. During this phase, most pitches I came across would follow a set pattern talking about the product/service and the how it solves the targeted problem better than others.

However, one of my personal favourites is Jukedeck’s innovative pitch during TechCrunch Disrupt — they use their solution during as a part of, rather than the subject of, their pitch; their work literally speaks for itself:

An avid YouTube surfer, I found that the whole concept of turning “How to do x” as a short song stuck. A few months later, I came across DeStorm’s rap on “How to solve a Rubik’s Cube (Rap)”:

It takes something complex, something that’s usually hard to remember, and gives it a flow, that is easier to retain and recall. (Typically during workshops we conducted back at college, people took over an hour for their first Rubik’s cube solve, which was simplified here to a few minutes)

Inspired by these, we decided to explain how to use our “Manufacturing as a Service” portal, Rolling Cube, through a rap:

The entire song has been done A capella style:
