Gina Luckenkemper 100m European Champion
Gina Luckenkemper narrowly defeated all the favorites to clinch a photo finish victory.
25-year-old Gina Luckenkemper was crowned European champion in the Women’s 100m on Tuesday (16 August) in Munich.
The German narrowly claimed the gold medal in a photo-finish. She fell and needed medical attention after crossing the line.
Mujinga Kambundji’ took silver with 10.99 (.989) and third was Great Britain’s Daryll Neita with a time of 11.00.
