Corner Turns

I look up at the skyline of this city sometimes and think how wild do you have to be to appreciate such magnitude, of which, this insane symphony of people makes magic, perpetuates chaos, and walks upon their ancestors. Mooring to what matters to them most for dear life. Amongst such filthy glory and thriving, it isn’t a mistake that I, one in so many million, stand on platforms and inside of train-cars begging to break into the facilitation of the eminence I know I am capable of. The only thing stopping me is the fear that what I am made of is as opulent and wondrous as my most wild and miraculous meditations and manifestations come true. My heart spills over in countenance to the skyline and all that it holds for us. I surrender to the slow reveal, knowing nothing is for certain.

In the city, at least for now, I find it easier to be as creative as time will allow. New York. Social Justice. Music. Playwright. Teacher. Mystic. Minority x3.
