The Tiny Elephant In The Room That I Can’t Talk About

I won’t give you unsolicited advice, because you didn’t ask and because I don’t think I have the answers. What I’ll tell you is this: almost every single woman I know had kids between 30 and 40. As my mother loves to tell me, “you have no idea how young you are.” 35 might seem not so far away, but the space between today and tomorrow is an eternity, if you examine all the single moments that can change everything. Dating with no one partner on the horizon might be all that you can see today, but the future holds millions of different versions of our story, and that person might be just around the corner. Or not. Either way, the math seems scary. The reality is less so.
