There is nothing fun about being dumped. While I know that it isn’t exactly fun being the one that ends the relationship, the party that usually ends up mourning the break-up longer is the one who didn’t end it.

I have a hard time letting go of relationships when I am not the one who has ended it. Some relationships feel like they are going to last forever. They are the ones that you dream of marrying, the one you picture a future with, and the one you feel like you can spend the rest of your life loving.

But sometimes, no matter how in love you are, some relationships just are not meant to be. …

My alarm goes off at five o’clock in the morning every morning, no matter what time I go to bed the night before, and almost every day, it is a struggle to get out of bed. Bleary-eyed and groggy, I shuffle my slipper clad feet to the r *coffee maker, clicking it on before I remember that I didn’t pour the water and add fresh grounds like I had planned the night before.

This happens to me a lot.
