Merry Christmas!! I wish all of you the best in all that you wish to do with your life! Know that no matter where you are someone loves you! At any moment in a day someone is thinking of you. Spread kindness and love this season that truly is a gift in this capitalistic society. I have talk to many people from around the world and they are very surprised on how we celebrate Christmas. Some cultures don’t care about gifts. The ultimate gift is to have life and love with your friends and family close. In other cultures they celebrate Christmas by having a huge party where it goes well into the night until the sun shines. Many families will come together and make a huge meal and are thankful they get to have the opportunity to share Christmas with each other. Not many people can do that because of various reason. Us in North America work very hard to afford Christmas. Long hours, stress and pressure consume us. People in North America tend to hate when Christmas time comes around because of that. People have forgotten the meaning of Christmas. It is said that most suicide and relationship breakups happen during the holiday season where we should be spending it with our family being happy and just enjoying the time spent with them. Stop worrying about the gift and give the gift of your time and attention. That is hard to come by in this technological age. Laugh, love, live, play and be free of stress the holiday season brings. I wish for you to have the best Christmas ever! Give up the grudges and hate and just be happy. Christmas for me doesn’t even feel the same as usual because I’m not in the country. But I’m all with you in spirit and I hope you have that extra punch drink and that extra slice of turkey for me! I’m very thankful I get to have turkey in Paris. The hostel is cooking a wicked Christmas dinner tonight! Be merry and cheer on this wonderful Christmas day!
