Shambhala Reflection 2011

Ok, so Sham is over now…. Still can’t believe it. It was amazing at times. Good at others. And just down right disappointing for the rest. Out of over 700 people I had walked by and waved to, to create shambhalove… Only 40 people actually waved back. I didn’t feel like there was much love at sham. People ignored me or looked away when I waved at them. The vibe just wasn’t there. One of my friends got told to fuck off when some guy elbowed her. Sham is not what I thought it was going to be. One thing I am happy about is that Excision played an AMAZING set! Can’t wait to listen to it all year while I wait for next year. Also I had given someone a free ticket to shambhala as well, thinking they would use it and have fun and experience things and meet new people. Instead they wasted it away lazing around and sleeping all day and night. Staying in the safety of the camp instead of venturing out and creating new relationships. I will not be giving that opportunity to them again nor anyone else. There would have been so many people that would have appreciated a FREE ticket to sham. But instead the one person I choose decided to waste it away. 2012 will be another year. And I will be even more prepared next year!!!
