The Road to Revelstoke
January 16, 2014
What’s next since Europe is over? I had many plans on the Road to Revelstoke. Visit Colorado for a week of shredding. Then I decided since snow wasn’t very good in Europe that I will spend 2 weeks in Colorado, with my trip to Miami for a week for Ultra Music Festival.
Life has its lemons. Miami isn’t happening and Colorado isn’t happening as soon as I would want it to happen. But really if you keep going, things always work out better in the end. Now it’s 18 days in Colorado. Really stoked to get 14 more days of shredding in my season, with a few days here and there in the mountains in Alberta, Canada. Hoping for a total season in the mountains to be roughly 40 days. That’s a whole 20 days more than last season.
With my last snowboarding trip being in the spring; my season will be over after that. I really have to make the best of every day I have in the mountains. The winters are never long enough anymore. Then I’ll really be on the Road to Revelstoke. I will have to make a final decision on the location and create a budget plan and then I work, wait and raise the stoke all over again. You really have to keep yourself focused on your goals and tell yourself to keep to the plan. That it’s all worth it. The Road to Revelstoke has already begun. 2014/2015 will be THE season! A good 24th Birthday gift to myself by moving to the mountains and hopefully never returning.
