Ok. So Venice isn’t that bad. Yesterday was just a bad day. My hostel is actually pretty awesome. The moment I got to the hostel they treated me like gold. They didn’t even ask for cash up front yet. They said. “Come, Have breakfast.” So I sat down and enjoyed some cereal, some slices of bread with the best cream cheese I ever had in my life. And had a cup of tea before taking a long nap which I needed and out of nowhere the owner gives me a blanket I could use while napping on a chair. It was SO FLUFFY!! Then before I could even check in, they gave me keys to the hostel so I could wander the streets of Venice while I waited. I come back, check in. they still don’t ask for cash and they show me my room. I was so tired I skyped the bf. And then went straight to bed. 14 hours of sleep and woke up when someone’s alarm went off for breakfast. Then I find out they have a whirpool hottub/bathtub. Me and that hot tub will be having a date tonight! I need some good RNR. And to top it all off; this hostel is an all female hostel that is well taken care of; cute and quaint; decorated awesomely, and everyone is so friendly. The only weird thing is they have those weird toilets that was you butt. No way will I try that out. Today I will explore a few of the islands that the waterbus goes to. Super stoked. It’s also crazy knowing the kids the grow up here really only know about the water bus and haven’t experienced anything else. Yet I think they could say the same about regular buses and us. I have to keep reminding my self to put myself in others shoes sometimes.
