Twelve Keys and One Door: Communicating with Noble Intent

A few words on being a Human who likes to be around Other Humans and who is sometimes not very good at it but sometimes is.

I wonder if our lives are not so very different. I wonder if there is more about us that that draws us together but we somehow fool ourselves into thinking that there is more that sets us apart. I wonder if there is somehow space for both in our shared lives together on this small pearl.

I bet you have something unique to say so I left a space open for you to get us started.

2. Focus on building relationships rather than completing transactions, no matter how short the term.

3. Create strong cognitive and emotional connections with someone by first demonstrating a genuine interest in the other person.

4. Ask questions. Listen. Be interested.

5. Be patient. When the time comes, be sure to clearly connect your story with theirs.

6. Be fierce in spirit.

7. Be tender in heart.

8. Be clear in mind.

9. Be respectful of time.

10. Fall on your sword.

13. Grab a kazoo. Honk out a song. Laugh. Ignore everything I just said. Life is too short to be so darn serious all the time.
