The average number of individuals that search for a term in a given month is known as search volume. For instance, a search volume of “500” indicates that, on average, 500 searches are made for a certain phrase each month.
Search volume is measured differently by different platforms. However, the majority (including Semrush, the tool we utilized to create this list) use a rolling 12-month average to determine search traffic. In doing so, seasonal increases for phrases (such as “Halloween costume”) are lessened.
