Finding the Right Path

Some people are meant to go into the office everyday for 8-10 hours and send business emails at 1 a.m. on a Saturday. Other people create their own path.

One of the ironic things about living far from home is that I can finally romanticize the place of my birth as I always wished I could. Now, looking at pictures, it seems like a fantasy land, to which I will someday make a pilgrimage. Like the lochs of Scotland more than a place with a Walmart.

Maybe I’m looking into this too much, or just feeling nostalgic, but when I look at the list of ‘Remembered Networks’ in my wifi settings, it feels like a walk down memory lane. That coffee shop, the downstairs apartment, the one that never worked…. it’s all a temporary scrapbook born out of computer function.
