On “Woke” White People Advertising their Shock that Racism just won a Presidency
Courtney Parker West

Dear Courtney, I agree wt you completely, and I am a white woman in deep pain and feeling the pain of the collective unconsious. This week, I was groped and sexually harassed by THREE different men in my social circles, family, and neighborhood. Bc you know, this is EVEN more ok, than it was ever before. As a person who loves my friends of color, my many gay friends, my gay brother, women of ALL color who deal wt sexual harassment, sexual assault, horrid misogyny on a daily basis, I can say that what I am trying to do is LISTEN to your feelings, and to share mine, I sat down wt 2 gay black men to LISTEN to them to see how they feel and share wt them. I made 2 new friends. yes, I am horrified and shocked that this racism/sexism BS seems to have won this election. But Trump DID NOT win the popular vote, and half of America DID NOT EVEN VOTE, so if we look at that, he and that HATE did not really win. But this is a very dark time indeed.
