This note is for the kids in us who haven’t gotten out to play as often as we used to 🚶‍♀️

Fun = motivation

I lack the motivation to exercise. Unless it’s a game or sport I love to play, I doubt I’ll ever succeed with an exercise regime geared toward health goals. So, exercise should be much more than a scheduled activity with a plan and some numbers.

The need for our work-life balance has made it so that we need to schedule time for exercise rather than treat it as fun.

How about we call it work-play balance instead? And could we say that walking can be as much fun as another game we’d love to play?

A lot more than a walk in the park

Many great ideas were born while taking a shower; my most recent ones have come from my 20–30 minute evening walks.

Here’s one that I’m sharing with you right now: walking might get us to connect with our dreams
