Memories of the Past

Looking back at my memories

I wonder whether we were really in love

I chased after you like a fool

Not recognizing your faded smile.

Our love had many obstacles

But we rushed forward ignoring it.

The storms never ceased

In the end we were washed away

Like a castle made in the sand

We couldn’t hold on for long.

Like little kids fighting for toys

We fought with all our might

Worrying more about not losing

We ended up losing ourselves.

The day everything came to an end

The sound of our screams, the words

Which we should have never uttered

Hardly seems notable now.

Looking forward I wonder

Will we meet in the far-off future?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
