The gym and my Gluteus Assimus
I was at the gym today on the exercise bike.
For the past week, my lower back has been hurting (which is unusually for someone in his 20’s who works out regularly). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why it was happening.
Then last week I realized what it was. It was like an Archimedes Eureka moment.
“The stupid exercise bike!”
I think it’s weirdly designed or something. But whatever it is, i’m almost certain that that was the reason.
So today when I went into the gym to warm up before I did weights, I used a different exercise bike. This one is shaped differently, and so it doesn’t put much pressure on my lower back.
And then guess what? My butt started hurting!
I’m thinking, “you’ve got to be freakin’ kiddin’ me!”
So now i’m going to have to find another way to warm up. I could maybe use the exercise bike or the elliptical machine or something.
But here’s the point. I remember when I just started out, a hundred different people told a thousand different things.
Everyone who uses a certain traffic source, for example, touts that it’s the best thing since sliced bread. And i’m thinking, “amigo, calm down…”
You see, not one method is going to work for everyone. You have to find what works best for you and then just run with it.
I’ve been using this system for a while, and it’s been working like gangbusters for me (and thousands of others too). However, you have to make your own decision. That’s why there’s a super risk-free trial (that costs lesser than what you’re going to pay for lunch today). Check this baby out:
