Did Someone Mention Mitre?
It’s funny you should mention it. When I think of Mitre I often associate it with Dr. Evil in Austin Powers. Lol, he tried to do everything in power to win. No matter the tactic or technique. He even had a mini version of him.
When I learned about Mitre Framework & The CyberKill Chain I was amazed. I thought it was cool that various tactics and techniques hackers used throughout the different stages of a cyberattack where documented.
It was like a dictionary or Britannica of some sort. Navigating it at first can be a bit overwhelming. Like I mentioned in an earlier post learning things in cyber doesn’t come overnight, and it’s most certainly a process.
However, the willingness to learn will take you a long way.
Here’s a video explaining MITRE Framework
my professor would always pose this question “but now that you’ve found the problem — how would you mitigate it?”
So, I pose this question to you —
when problems arise what are some of your best mitigation practices?
Until Next Time,
T.
