The ChatGPT before ChatGPT: How I created a ChatGPT 4 years ago

Back in 2019, while I was working at IBM Research on Quantum Computing in New York, I started experimenting with the just-launched GPT-2 model in my spare time. The model was just released, but there wasn’t any online platform to query it. I wanted to create an online website to allow anyone worldwide to try this fantastic piece of technology.
