First step towards success

During my Amal fellowship i learn that in person drop of resume and cover letter is more efficient than sending it by an email So, i decided to do an in person drop to my favorite organization to sow that i am really passionate about the work and about the organization . I want to work with Pakistan Science foundation as a researcher and want to do some research in the field of environment because Pakistan extremely needs to tackle the environmental problems. So I decided to visit Pakistan science foundation in person just to drop my resume and cove letter. I already search about their ongoing projects and also their collaboration with other international research centers and their social work and specially their effort for schools and college students.

when I was at the gate the guard not allowed me to go inside because of some security issues I request him also give my Id card to him but he was not allow me then I request him to tell manager or other person that I was a researcher and want to drop my résumé it takes 20 minutes and then he allow me to go inside. Then I tell the receptionist that I want to meet Husnain sahab who is the director in PSF, fad. After 1 hours the receptionist tell me that he was in meeting and don’t have time I wait for next 30 minutes and luckily husnain sahab was come out of their office I just stand and pay my salam to him. He ask why you are here lady then I explain him the whole thing and e allowed me to come to their office and It was just a really good experience when I talk to him about my inters , about my passion about scientific research. Then i tell about myself and my past experience and again show my passion about PSF and why I chose PSF. he was so kind person e listen me carefully and also ask me about some questions related to my previous research and also impressed by my cover letter. It was a really nice meeting with him. After almost 2 hour wait finally I feel relax when talk to him. I also request him to give your email address so I will keep in touch with you. I seem really happy I thanked him and also send him a thank you email. It was a really good experience.
