Getting started.

Unsure of what and where I’m looking to go with blogging here, I figured I’d take the path of least resistance and also (hopefully) the one most likely to yield something of interest to the folks here: individual posts features some of photos I’ve taken that I really love. I was going to say “that I’m most proud of” but that doesn’t really capture it. I post regularly on Instagram and elsewhere, and I’m “proud” of the photos I share. But what I’m really interested in here are the shots that speak to me on a deeper level. I often refer to these photos as ones that “break my heart in the best way”; that’s what I want to dig into.

These photos are also a jumping off point for nerding out on cameras, film, glass, etc., hopefully giving me a decently rich vein to mine. (But you’ll be a better judge of that.)
