Beyond Hearing is a photographic series to intimate private emotion and thoughts when I was alone in strange place. I've wandered ordinary areas where I've visited, thus far, I try to capture the moment through my lenses in order to perceive the space-time into pure-emotion by myself. It can be 'defamiliarization' with photography. Those places are ordinary to natives but I find something strange as a visitor, and my aim is to let it unfamiliar to even people to live there, including people who have never been there. In general, nobody recognise what there is in surrounding. Time is passed and continuous, from the reason, everyone perceive their space-time is familiar and mundane. However, what if time is segmentalized? It is possible to capture every single instant scenes in photography. This is an attempt to intimate to freeze space-time in emotion for defamiliarization.
