INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY & DECREASE YOUR SLEEP BY MEDITATION

All of us want to be productive so am I. But not all of us can win the battle of minds.

“THE MIND ACTS LIKE AN ENEMY FOR THOSE WHO DON’T CONTROL IT”, a famous quote in the sacred book Bhagavat Gita.

Some people work too hard to be productive each day by decreasing the quantity and quality of sleep that they take. But this is not gonna help you because decreasing the amount of sleep you take, has a major influence on your mind. Your brain starts to decrease its clarity and vision. Like all parts in your body it too needs some fair amount of rest to make you feel fresh all day long. This means Sleep can increase your productivity several folds. Yes it does.

In this article I’m not gonna focus on the necessities for sleep but the key concept which can empower our mind. I hope this article is sure gonna help you.

Researches say that meditating regularly can increase the brain activities and performances. Religions say meditation gives enlightenment both physically and mentally and clarity to view the whole world. Well in both cases meditating is somehow deeply connected to our brains, minds, intellect and conscience. Some researches say people who meditate regularly are both physically and mentally strong.

By meditating you start to feel more refreshed and awake with just 4–5 hours of sleep. In this 4–5 hours you are going to relax all of your muscles in your body, your BP decreases tremendously in the slow wave sleep; your skin vessels get dilated resulting in a voluminous blood supply to your blood vessels in the skin, etc… But your mind is not always comfortable with the amount of sleep /rest you give to it. And since PRODUCTIVITY is directly proportional to the state of your mind and also time, we need to train our mind the best. Many people who meditate say that they get refreshed easily with only few hours of sleep by meditating. You may have heard that some professional mediators only get sleep for an hour or less. That means they aren’t incomplete with the sleep they get but they are active and boosted with their thoughts in their mind.

Sleep and meditation has some prominent differences. It is important to note that when we are meditating we are not sleeping we are just in a deep relaxation state with our minds in control. This is the reason why some successful people meditate. And it is true that meditation can REPLACE your sleep. Thanks for readin’ the article, hope you enjoyed it!!!
