  1. Me! By a whole ocean!
  2. Me!
  3. No, I had just finished a master’s and was doing freelance work, which I’m still doing.
  4. This is complicated because there were technically a lot of things that went into this (a wedding, a visa, a plane ticket.) Mostly we split the costs.
  5. Sort of? I don’t like living in one of the most expensive cities in the world and making very little money because I have a master’s that is useless here, not to mention the student debt I still have from said master’s. It does make me feel “unfeminist” that I’m not financially independent mostly because I live here. But I still love him and it made sense at the time and it is a fun city to live in.
