A simple story to be told. Some may say it is an allegorical tale of giants and little people. Some may say it is fantasy and dismiss it as a fairy tale to be told to children and feeble minds. Some may say it is a dream to be found and cherished.
Whatever the case may be, we, each of us are at a crossroad; a junction or intersection, that has taken 30 years or so to converge. We sense it in the air around us. A story is unfolding, and we shall all be partakers in the events at hand.
Our “digital story” is evolving before our eyes. We, each of us, are attached to little screens, big screens, touch screens, voice boxes and the like; each compelling us to be Lilliputians in a land of digital giants.
You might say that “Googlever”, like Gulliver , is the giant in the land. We’ve made peace with Googlever, and it seemingly is but a placid giant that means us no harm. But, as our “digital story” unfolds, the giants consume us, take our very knowledge, our essence, our likes and dislikes, our friends and family, our banking and finance, our good and bad deeds, our secrets and our past, and distill them into a composite similitude, a facsimile, a likeness, that allows them to “guide” us in ways that speak of a dystopian world. While promising a utopia, they manage us, cajole us, herd us, share and sell us to others who would advantage themselves in both financial and powerful ways.
A new era is upon us!
We, the Lilliputians, must seek alternative ways to ensure the path we have is truly our own. Our destiny, and that of our children’s, children will be made in the crucible of this time. This is a uniquely identifiable crossroad, where giant and people conform. Will the giant fall and the people win? Will the systems and synthetically controlled algorithmic life bestowed upon us by “big data” be the end of our individual freedom?
Thankfully, many in the community of digital devices have seen the challenges the present centralised systems raise. A fresh alternative is now available. Many years of research by talented folks have brought to us to this zenith, where we have an ability to control our “digital story”.
A revolution is upon us, and yes, we, the Lilliputians, may and can wrest control of payment systems, in a peer-peer, fully authenticated PACT (Proven Authentic Concurred Transactions).
This is a global initiative to add a new layer to the internet that is owned 100% by the people. You, us, them! It will provide a solution to break the economic barriers that divide us all, creating equality, no matter where we live or who we are.
