Functions and consensus mechanisms on certain X.chain are identical with those of X.chain, which is the reason why X.blockchain was able to become multi-structured blockchain. The previous one is called main-chain and the last one is called sub-chain. Then, how can we distinguish these two X.Chains?

We can classify Assetful X.Chain and Assetless X.Chain whether X.Chain has independent asset or not. X.chain with independent asset is called Assetful X.Chain and validators also should be independently composed. In this case, share can be measured based on the amount of independent asset.

On the other hand, Assetless X.Chain does not have independent asset. Therefore, all expenses (commission, measuring share etc.) incurred from related chain is handled as asset of ParentChain. ParentChain’s validators act as validators of Assetless X.Chain. In other words, Validator of X.Chain that has Assetless X.Chain automatically becomes validator of Assetless SubChain.

X.Chain has been a foothold of X.blockchain. Please pay attention to ASTON’s progress. We are always thankful for your tremendous support and interest in ASTON!
