[Inside] DFParis2019 = Technology + Financial Services
On October 10th 2019 at Station F, Netguru and astorya.vc teamed up together to organize Disruption Forum Paris. Gathering several fast growing FinTech / InsurTech startups, alongside with bank / insurance corporates, discussions focused on how to leverage technology in Financial Services. Panel #1: Scaling Strategies & Founders’ Mind

- “What we bring to the table are not only algorithms but also domain knowledge”
- “Don’t do AI just for the sake of doing AI. Focus on solving the problem. Remember that machine learning, AI or statistical algorithms, whatever you call it, it is just a tool”
- “There’s a clear shortage of AI skills in the market”
- “One of the big risks about educating the industry about what AI can do for the industry, is that there is so many b***it on the market about AI”
Panel #4: Cracking Insurance Distribution

- “Unless you don’t think about it at all, since insurance is embedded”
- “We’re moving from the economy of having to the economy of usage. The challenge is not to buy insurance anymore”
- “In the near futur we won’t be buying insurance, the insurance will be embedded in the product”
- “At the end of the day it’s all about people and collaboration”
