Free speech is a government protected right. ESPN can tell their employees to say whatever ESPN wants. Their employees can quit. ESPN cannot limit the free speech of their employees guaranteed by the Constitution.

I hear stuff I don’t agree with all the time. I seldom think, “they should be fired”. My love affair with ESPN died a long time ago. About the time they forgot they were just an entertainment and sports program and took on airs to “educate” their (former) audience about social issues. Next, TMZ will broadcast a Presidential debate.
