In astrology, the elements unfold in yin/yang polarities: fire (yang), earth (yin), air (yang), water (yin).
For some reason, Strauss Howe adopted a yang-yang-yin-yin pattern: air, fire, water, earth. I thought they might align as well, but their “seasonal cycle” doesn't follow the inherent rhythm of the zodiac, which is unfortunate.
Therefore...
Strauss Howe vs Pluto Generations (by element):
Artist = intuition (fire) = Silent ≠ Pluto in Cancer (water)
Prophet = felling (water) = Boomers ≠ Pluto in Leo (fire)
Nomad = sensation (earth) = GenX =± Pluto in Virgo (earth)
[Xennials] (demographers missed that one!) [Pluto in Libra (air)]
Hero = reason (air) = Millennials ≠ Pluto in Scorpio (water)
So, I see your point but I don’t believe the “elemental yoga” is possible!
