QUESTIONS FROM TELEGRAM COMMUNITY MEMBERS

AMBASSADORS AND PARTNERSHIPS

  1. So far we’ve seen very little ambassador activity in fact the most active ambassadors are in this group. Are there any perks planned or plans for these initiative/ambassadors since we are supporting ASA coin at day 1?
The Ambassador position for eSports is only open to influential members that are prominent in the eSports market, as that is the core market for Asura World. Being active in Asura’s Telegram Group is nonetheless great! However once the platform is live, up and running, it will be the eSport influencers that pull in more traffic. Asura’s goal outside of crypto eSport fans, is to attract non-crypto members of eSports through content/influencers and convert them into token users. Thus even though our current Ambassadors may seem inactive however, we’ve locked them into a relationship for the future growth.
  2. Could the role which DeMoN is going to play with regards to Asura be clarified? He is an older player from DOTA 1 days, who is officially retired and without a team. Are you planning to build your forthcoming DOTA2 team around him; or is he purely on-board as an ambassador? If so, what will his roles include? Either way, has there been much discussion as to which region players will be selected from?
DeMoN’s role with Asura will grow over time, currently he may seem more inactive in the marketing of Asura however, we have a lot of plans planned for DeMoN in the coming months. Especially during active Dota 2 tournaments in the future for brand awareness, and many others.
  3. Will Asura partner with major eSports events?
Asura definitely will, not just eSporting events, but also governing bodies for eSports. The goal of Asura is to grow user base, so we will focus on all avenues to pull in users around eSports.
  4. What selling point did Fujian eGaming and Jimmy Ho like about your Project?
Fujian eGaming liked our proposition for our Tournament platform, currently in China there is a lack of very transparent and regulated Tournament platforms, having the ability to stream Chinese Tournaments via Twitch and showcasing it to the Western market is also something they anticipate very much. As for Jimmy, because he’s now a retired Dota 2 professional, he wishes to focus more on the development of eSports, which works perfectly in tune with us.
  5. What is the significance of the Fujian Partnership? And can you please justify why it was worth 90m ASA, especially considering these tokens are worth nearly the total value of all the NEO raised. I’m a supporter btw. Not being negative. Would like to know your thinking behind the commercials of this partnership.
It was an investment on their end also. For 5m RMB, we hold the 90m ASA over 3 years, and are dispersed throughout the 3 years to the winners of tournaments hosted by Fujian eGaming in China.
  6. Why partnership with another ico?
Do you mean Spotcoin? Spotcoin in the future will allow easier trading of ASA.

FINANCIALS

  1. With as much detail as possible what is the Asura teams plan for using the growth fund amount tokens.
The Growth fund will be used to directly work with future influencers, tournaments, events, etc. All avenues that are eSport focused with the ability to drive traffic are avenues Asura World will explore to grow our user base.
  2. How has the funding situation impacted the roadmap? As the funding achieved was lower than hardcap are there any compromises with respect to what the end product looks like, and potentially the timescales for delivery of the product? If so, what are they?
Surprisingly the funding in NEO has not impacted us majorly, however the unexpected crash in the market and us not exchanging at a higher rate has slowed our development down. However, that is only a slow down in development and in no way are we pausing the development of the project.
  3. Who [in the team] is responsible for sponsorship?
Sponsorships are discussed within the executive team during board meetings.
  4. Why nep5? Neo?
Taking into account our focus on community, we had to find a foundation suitable for our future rather than “what’s popular right now”. NEO’s vision aligns with the Asura vision, a strong sense of unity within the community, co-operative growth, and an extremely fast supporting response rate. We think in 4–5 years down the road, NEO will be vastly different from competitors such as Ethereum, and at that time, the benefits of NEO to Asura World would be extremely prominent.
  5. What is the benefit for holding Asa coin for a decade? Besides price speculation is Asura Team only focusing on reputable Crypto Exchanges? Or will there be alternative routes to obtain ASA? Through gift cards and game card?
Asura World aims to be a self-sustainable ecosystem within 5 years. With sustainability, ASA tokens would be more like purchasing a property within Asura World. The tokens are finite but the platform allows for unlimited growth potential. So the more tokens a user holds, the more “power” a user has to decide in the direction of growth for Asura World. Outside of users, there are many plans for additional use of ASA however they are in planning phases set for the future and are not concrete enough to announce publicly at this time.
  6. Will ASA coin be applied for normies/non crypto people?
Yes definitely, the whole goal of Asura World in the eSport market is to convert non-crypto users into crypto-users by means of unique services and content.
  7. I’m hoping they implement an account creation on Asura website that holds credit card, PayPal etc info to buy directly from their portal. How will the everyday “joe” purchase Asa tokens to bet? Will there be a backend approach that the users can purchase directly from the website? A lot of people may not even be into crypto that uses this, just gamers. I’m saying front end solutions. If a gamer or better has to go to multiple steps to purchase the betting tokens you can forget about it.
This has definitely been something we have planned for since the beginning. We understand the necessity of ease of use for consumers. Everything is in the pipeline.
  8. I have read the road map (NOTE) so when exactly does the betting start where the token is used and what is the earliest date the public can use the Asura platform and its token?
The Beta Betting platform is set to be released in Q4 2018.

ASURA WORLD

  1. Does Asura aim to be a market leader in its category?
Definitely, but not just as a market leader, Asura World aims to revolutionize the current eSport world. A true gamer’s paradise, allowing users to decide in the direction of growth.
  2. What are USP of ASA/NEOAsura World and Fujian eGaming First Tournament planned for FuZhou Arena King of Glory, when is this taking place? What is involved?
A surprisingly amount of people in China know of Cryptocurrency, however outside of traders, there is still a huge margin of difference between knowing and using. Asura World and Fujian eGaming both hope through this partnership we will be able to start introducing and utilizing cryptocurrency in more mainstream directions. The first Tournament is set to be held in their new Arena in Q1 2019.
  3. Will there be a mobile integration of Asura World?
    Yes. That’s our next step!
  4. Will the asuracoin.io site be translated for other languages?
Currently, we don’t have the manpower as all our team is focused on Asuraworld.com and asuracoin.io is only an introduction to Asura Coin/Asura World. But in the future, once we clear some work off our plates, we will definitely add in other languages.
  5. In player hosted matches what is the process for handling mid match disconnects?
If it’s a server issue on our end, then the tokens are simply returned to user’s wallets, however if it’s a user that disconnects, then they forfeit their tokens and will incur a loss.
  6. How are they planning to avoid rigged bets?
Bets are capped. And only through time or KYC validation, can certain users lift the betting caps or increase their betting caps.
  7. When website active?
Asura World’s first part community center is set to launch Q3, considering the current market that has slowed us down a bit, we’re aiming to launch near the end of Q3 now.
  8. Will there be a way to swap $ or € directly on your side against ASA in both directions? In the future will a local exchange be integrated into the Asura Platform to improve UX?
In the future there is definitely plans to integrate exchanging within Asura World directly for verified users.
  9. What do you think about tiered memberships, based on amount of ASA you hold, maybe get reduced fee, early registration to tournaments?
This is very interesting! Something we can think about! Thank you for the suggestion!
  10. Does Asura feel confident that users will be comfortable buying from exchanges in the early days, considering the lengthy process and relatively complex process of buying for newcomers to cryptocurrency?
We think if a product is good enough, people will want to use it.

MARKETING/COMMUNITY UPDATES

  1. With regards to marketing, what are the plans to increase visibility and brand exposure in the coming months?
Content Creation through many gaming related social channels, Tournament streaming, articles, we have a batch of eSport journalists ready to spiel articles once our community center is up and running.
  2. Nobody is asking for a full time social media manager, and if nobody from the team is willing to take a few minutes each couple of days to make 1 or 2 tweets to let the community know progress/problems/new developments — without additional financial incentive (as you said, limited funding) — that kind of paints a negative image. How many core members are there? Let’s be honest, a tweet saying “progress moved from 5% to 5.5%” would make people happy.
Thank you for your suggestion! We will work harder on our Social Media presence!
  3. Any plans to start a discord channel?
Yes! Once the community center is up and running.
  4. Any up coming events Asura invited to, or promoting at any events?Asura World is looking to attend the NEO Blacksea event that’s coming soon, hosted by Spotcoin + NEO.
  5. Do you still have the details of those Chinese kyc refusals (5000 odd if memory serves) and if so will they be individually targeted upon coin listing? Additionally are there esport fan databases worth marketing the platform at? After all there’s nothing like having an actively engaged audience.
We have no details about them, only that we know we had to reject them. Most of them are however in our mailing lists. We will be working in conjunction with some future tournament events as “press” to unveil the latest in eSporting news and coverage to direct traffic to Asura World community center.
  6. I know there was lots of professional YouTubers who asked for Admin for cooperation. What about that?
We are open to work with them, unfortunately, many of them charge prices way above a feasible ROI and are more crypto focused while we are now starting to divert our attention to eSport influencers.

EXCHANGES

  1. Is Asura focussing on one or two exchanges or as top 50 coins focus on a wide variety of exchanges and so yes what time period.
After consulting with our advisors and meetings internally, we think getting on smaller boutique but unique exchanges would be more beneficial both for us and for the community in the start, and then as we build Asura World and grow Asura World, we move onto larger exchanges, top 10 exchanges.
  2. Can we know with how many exchanged you we working for listing or is just one exchange and the DEX (that is by default)?
We have narrowed our selection down to 1 exchange for now, however our discussions with exchanges planned for the near future amount to 4 currently.
