Arjun R Pillai, yes definitely. I think my on-boarding was made smoother by better access to information. Even though it was overwhelming at first, it really made a huge difference when I saw decisions being made and learn about the logic behind them. It helped align me quickly towards the company philosophy, and more often than not, it’s that alignment that enabled (and still enables) me to make daily decisions.
I’d say ‘bcc-ing’, to me, is one of the best ways to onboard key members, and the policy should be to be as transparent as possible — trust me, it builds trust. :)
