It’s correct that this will make the field invisible to accessibility services. Apps like Voodoo will no longer be able to read your password field (it probably wasn’t anyway).

on second thought, not sure it _does_ make it invisible to accessibility services.

I suspect the service has access to the entire View hierarchy and can choose to ignore this parameter, which would make the advice from the other post even worse :|
