Recognizing the Bullshit

Anything or anyone that tells you about some easy way to make money, to grow your list, to get fast rapid growth, to just sip a tea to lose that bloat, to go on a weekend retreat to find your “purpose” and connect to yourself like never before, to get crazy numbers and engagement …

…is 99 percent full of it and is probably not killing it and is using a lot of the words that everyone runs toward to make sure their own rent/bills/lifestyle gets paid

A Few Points to Recognize the BS

1. Does it read or feel “too good to be true” — that old adage that your grandpa threw around…accurate.

2. If there is just flash and those key “words” (FAST, QUICK, OVERNIGHT, RAPID, MAKE MONEY, YACHT LIFE, MAKE MONEY IN YOUR SLEEP…)
you should probably exit out, unsub, RUN

3. Did this person just start popping up? Anyone can get a webpage up + attack you with FB ads…dive a little deeper. What is their backstory? Is there truth? Is there journey? Is there years and years of ups and downs? CUZ that’s the truth.

4. I say it all the time but I’ll say it again…read into the goddamn energy! BS Fake shit can be felt. Desperation can be felt. Filters can be read through. Trust your read on something despite how many others might be telling you that it is truth gospel the only mentor mastermind pyramid scheme that WORKS — IT WORKS … really? Then why you still investing in more books and courses to continue to find your golden ticket to quick fame and wealth…

5. If they just won’t tell you their journey, their true process, their ups and downs…if they roll on scripts, templates, emails that start the subject line with RE:, I Can’t Believe You Missed Out, etc etc. etc — Look for the ones that have the scars, bruises and mud yet they are still moving and showing up and sharing and trying. #sorrynotsorry you are human so no matter how much fame money publicity you amass you won’t ever get a shield that keeps you from loss failure hardship etc. It’s what you do after falling off the horse, what you do after you lose, what you do after everyone stops talking to you, when you fall into the ground…you get up and keep moving or you fade away because you weren’t strong enough to keep going and to not let one scenario stop you.

6. Lastly, go beyond the fame, the numbers. Engagement tells and shows much more. Sad truth, anyone can amass lots of followers on any platform or puff themselves up. Cuz money and gathering a tribe of fan girls or slapping filters / photoshopping your life for perfect social media presence……can and does happen daily but there is little to not truth to it and it just screams shady AF when you roll with all the glitz but have next to no conversation or engagement going on
