The Best Laid Plans…Enjoy Change

Do you ever feel as though you take ten steps forward + then something out of your control sends you twenty steps back?

Because news flash…we can’t control everything (as much as I would love to)

Do you know the feeling where you just throw your hands up, fall to the floor + say “I surrender” or just “Why” or “Why now”…

I’ve been there. So fucking there. I have been there many times before.

The thing is that:

Plans don’t always go according to plan.
That’s part of life.
That’s part of growing up.
Whatever you do for living. Whoever. Wherever. Whenever. 
Change happens. Things sometimes don’t go the way that we would like or in the time we’d like.

You can plan, set goals, dream but you never know what happens when the bar is closed, the plane is delayed, they cheat, you get fired or let go, or your passion pulls you in a different direction…but you keep going. You keep going like the fucking champion that you are.

Let this be a reminder that even when we draw up the best, seemingly foul proof plans things can change at the drop of a hat.

Know this…Relationships can be mended + rekindled.
Business Offerings will shift. Tag lines + Sites will change. 
Friends + Partners will come and go.
Jobs + Projects will come and go. 
Life is not always pretty. 
Life has ups, Life has downs.

Embrace them. 
Strap in. 
Enjoy every fucking minute of this ride called life.
