When I Got NEA Funding

As I was reading about the proposed cuts today and who tends to benefit from from each program, I was surprised to learn that nearly 2/3rds of the NEAs budget funds tends to go towards programs in rural towns and cities. But then I suppose that makes sense. The Boston/Chicago/NYC of the country probably have a host of wealthy philanthropists that want to stick their name on something and have the money to give.
