Honestly, it’s weird to buy workout clothes on some level because they do seem like they’re for someone who is Not Me. But you have to keep in mind that they serve a purpose. They are there for a reason. The more I wear workout clothes, the more comfortable I am being a person that wears them. The more comfortable I am being that person, the easier it gets to wear them. It’s a feedback loop.
I looooooooooove the Champion stuff I find at Target. It might be the only moisture wicking fabric that exists that doesn’t somehow cause irritation to my skin. I lived in cotton leggings from Old Navy and cotton race t-shirts for years before discovering the Champion stuff. I had tried moisture wicking clothing before but it without fail gave me a rash in areas where it touched my skin tight — waistband especially.
