Monday Check In
Megan Reynolds

I think I came in as estimated.

Friday we did indeed go to Tree House brewery. That was NUTS. You show up and they direct you where to park and then you get in this massive line and then you reach the front and they ask you how many people in your party (2 for us) and then they say you can buy 1 or 2 boxes and we were like ‘2, please’ and they were like ‘that will be $105’. FOR A TOTAL OF 18 BEERS. I really hope this beer is all it’s cracked up to be because holy shit that is a LOT of money for so few beers. Anyhow, it was late-ish when we got back and LS was at a school thing until 9pm, so we got a pizza ($18) for dinner. Then picked up LS nad brought her to her mom’s for the weekend.

Saturday we got up wicked early and helped direct the movers at the new work. New lab is FANCY. 9th floor with some killer views of Cambridge/Somerville/Boston. And the lab is done out in a very 1950s high school science lab vibe. I love it SO MUCH. They fed us breakfast and lunch, so no money spent there. Then I went home and took a nap before we went out to dinner to celebrate the anniversary of the day we met ($105).

Sunday we slept in, I made breakfast and lunch out of what we had around the house and we watched a boat load of PBS. Then husband ran to the grocery store for dinner stuff (and some stuff for lunch for him for the week; $40) and we ate fajitas before going to get the LS for the week.

Estimate was north of $200 and that’s exactly how it went.
