Solidarity for high stress levels! You can do it!

I usually use this one (from the beeroness). We often wind up with random leftover beers from when people come over to hang on the roof deck, so right now we have a bottle of a peach wheat beer that neither of us want to drink but I think would make a lovely beer bread.

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 12 ounces beer (summer ale, wheat beer, saison, pilsner)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar. Add the beer, stir until just combined.
  3. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray. Pour that batter into the pan in an even layer. Pour the melted butter over the loaf.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from oven, allow to cool completely before slicing, chill if necessary.
