When I estimated I had no idea what the weekend would really hold and I am happy to say it was calm and relaxing.

Friday: met my husband for the burger lunch at Craige, spent an additional $20 on two beers and tip. Then we walked home in the rain and just kind of collapsed. Life has been exhausting for far too long now. We spent $40 on take out chinese Friday night.

Saturday: I never even made it out of my pjs. Watched Harry Potter movies all day and read books. At some point it started to pour, so I felt as though that was the universe approving of my slacking. Spent $38 at the grocery store on stuff to make dinner with (mole rubbed chicken, grilled corn, and chilaquiles verde (which were both stupid delicious and stupid easy to make)). I also spent like $300 on five different bathing suits but I only plan to keep the one that fits the best, so most of that isn’t really spent money.

Sunday: made chocolate waffles for breakfast and ate on the patio. Eventually showered and went for a looooooooooooooong walk around the city with zee husband. Stopped at the grocery store for stuff for dinner (just needed buns, cheese, and a tomato for burgers) but ran into a good sale on seltzer and impulse bought mocha oreos (these are GREAT) as well as stuff for dinner tonight, so we spent about $30 rather than the $10 we thought we would.

Total: $130ish, not counting the bathing suits.
