ZOMG. Do you remember last weekend when I was talking about a condo we saw and liked and wanted but a literal 70 people went to the open houses over the weekend so I thought we didn’t stand a chance??? Welp. We did put in an offer and we somehow won! It has been a NUTS week of getting our ducks in a row because holy crap things are moving fast. But we’ve lined up the mortgage and the inspection is today. I am very excited and utterly terrified that something is going to go wrong. So celebrations are gonna have to wait until that whole closing thing happens.

Today: Drove LS to school because she missed the bus for the second Friday in a row. She’s super lucky I have the house thing to distract me. Anyhow, $6 spent at Dunks on coffee for myself and husband. Then home inspection in a bit. Estimating it will cost a few hundred but I don’t actually know ($500). Tonight we’ll stay in and cook food we already have ($0)

Tomorrow: Going to try to run again (free), probably cook at home, then having friends over to watch the MIT parade thing from our roof (we have beer but maybe some snacks? Or takeout? $15-$50). Then we’re going to go out to dinner with a soon to expire gilt city voucher ($15 for tip I’ll estimate).

Sunday: going to his mother’s for Mother’s day. Will be cooking some stuff but not sure just what yet. I’ll estimate $30 for groceries. Then not sure for the rest of the day. Probably slacking.
