Today, we want to explain to you what we mean when we say Smart Farm 2.0.

The term “smart farm” is not recent. It’s has actually been around for about three to four decades within the agricultural industry as the industry advanced in technology and the world’s agritech companies gave the term its meaning.

Previously the industry used terms like CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture), facility, advanced, or precision agriculture, but as the term “Industry 4.0” emerged, so did “smart factory”. As one can infer, smart farm is the agricultural version of smart factory.

Smart farms are able to use cloud IoT technology to gather all sorts of activities and data. They use unmanned vehicles like drones and other kind of robotics. Various types of sensors customized for different types of farms are used as well as geo-positioning tech. Ultimately, the purpose of the smart farms are better efficiency and production output.

So then what’s our version of Smart Farm 2.0?

We want to create a new version of smart farms, an upgraded version.

We want to add deep learning technology to the farms so that the data analysis and management of all environmental controls can be done automatically in most optimal settings.

Smart Farm 2.0 is fully self-controlled in irrigation, CO2 levels, sunlight exposure, and wind levels and direction. All decisions are for most efficient results based on its deep learning analysis and reports on the farm’s performance.

Smart Farm 2.0 is the first step of ATFS Project’s business direction. We want to create the foundation for mass production, automation and volume sales using state-of-the-art farming technology.
