Key of Frankfurt’s 5–1 success against Bayern Munich
The Soccer world had a good weekend. Barça lost 3–1 to Levante, and Frankfurt trashes Bayern 5–1. Bayern came as favourites to win the game, but with a bad record against Frankfurt away because earlier 1975, they had to suffer a 6–0 defeat at the eagles nest.
Bayern Munich kicked off the game, and directly got a great Chance after just a Minute, but Frankfurt always pressed, and never gave up. Jerome Boateng, Bayern Munich Center Back did tackled Paciencia outside of the box, and therefore Frankfurt received a freekick and Jerome Boateng gets a red card, and cannot play at „Der Klassiker“ This was the turning point for Frankfurt, they tried to pressed the Bayern defense more, but hardly succeeded. Finally after 17 Minutes of hard work,a deflected shot from Bas Dost landed infront of Filip Kostic, and Kostic didn’t had to do a lot, just tapped the ball in and 1–0. 8 Minutes later, Kostic came from the left, and delivered the ball to Sow which was deflected by Kimmich, and Sow made it 2–0.The goal was also his first goal at the Bundesliga ever after returning to Germany from Young Boys Bern and after having an unsuccessful spell at Gladbach. Bayern than intensified their attack, and Lewandowski had to work hardly to score his remarkable goal which made it 2–1,and it stayed 2–1 until the 45th minute.
In the second half, Eintracht Frankfurt took better grip on the game, Center Backs scored twice, surprisingly strikers only once. As early as 4 minutes into the game,Da Costa made an amazing cross towards Captain, Center Back David Abraham and made it 3–1, magic. Bayern, as usual tried everything to make at least one goal happen, but Man of the match David Abraham didn’t let them score any, even with playing Coutinho and Coman in the midfield, it just didn’t work for them. Fast forward into the 61st minute, Eintracht Frankfurt got a corner which was taken by Kostic, and another Center Back, Hinteregger scored with his head the 4–1, a typical Center Backs goal. Bayern tried everything, and like other Frankfurt fans, I thought they would score one or two, but couldn’t make it pass the rigid Eintracht Frankfurt midfield. Fast forward into the 80th minute, AC Milan loanie Andre Silva, helped Paciencia to put a bigger daylight between the two clubs as he walked past the helpless Bayern defense as if he faced an U8 Bayern team, 5–1.
This win over Bayern was Frankfurt’s first win over Bayern in the Bundesliga since March 2010, and it became one of the three biggest three Bayern defeats in the Bundesliga since 10 years, two of them is owned by Wolfsburg a 5–1 in 2008/2009 which clinched VFL Wolfsburg their first and by now onliest League title, and at the first matchday of the second round of 2014/15 season where Dost, present Frankfurt player, and De Bruyne both scored twice.
