Okay, there’s a difference between Candy Crush and genuinely useful automation. I agree with your points, and I don’t think our society should make wealthy people impose value judgements on those who are not — but that shouldn’t come at the cost of opposing anything that may potentially make a few people’s lives a little bit worse in the short term. The invention of the computer has probably made millions of jobs unnecessary — and I think we can consider that a good thing, and also try to recognize and empower the good people who lost those jobs.
