Whoa, that's a lot of thought about uppercases vs. lowercases. Even being aware of the difference between Title case and Sentence case, there was a lot to it I was not aware of, which leads me to the following question.
For people who are largely unaware of the difference (as long as they can read the text, then it's fine), how much do these really affect at a subconscious level? Is Title case really perceived as such a a formal trait? Or said otherwise, how many users would actually give more or less confidence to a brand based on Title case vs. Sentence case? Is this not one of those cases of big fuss about a little thing designers tend to get locked up into?
