I’m not busy; I’m just Multitasking Mom

Moms are different as snowflakes. They come in different sizes and shapes with different colors and calling at different ages, abilities sorting different personalities and preference. Moms are very different, and also very much alike. Moms have been to applaud, aggravate, correct, console, pamper, polish, scold and snuggle their off spring all within a matter of moments. And most of all, moms have been known to love without reserve; and show it with their HEAD, HANDS AND HEARTS.

Moms are purely defined by their jobs.Chef , nurse, teacher, maid, chauffeur, event planner, book keeper, juggler, purchasing agent, life coach, handy person, project manager, athletic director, dietition and all this for little to no compensation.

I could remember a Jewish proverb.

“God could not be anywhere,so he created mothers”.

The head angel asked”God you’re on your sixth day of working overtime.I’ve seen your blue prints, This is an incredible accomplishment and very completed. Shouldn’t you stop for today and begin again tomorrow”?

I’m so excited with this one, Said God’.”Can you believe what women can do; Women have to be completely washable, but not plastic have over.200 movable parts most replacable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers. They have a lap that can hold four childrens at one time and do everything with only the hands. They can work 18 hours day juggling work and home. They are able to think, reason and negotiate. They smile when they to scream .They sing when they want to cry. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up to injustice. They love unconditionally. They bring, joy, hope and love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends.

HOWEVER,IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR SELF WORTH.

Coming towards the points of multitasking,

I’m born multitasker.I can never just do one thing. But Multitasking can be a hindrence! You dabble in 1000 things in a day, but never really accomplish much. I’m working on finding the Right way(s) to multitask, and maintain the balance between doing multiple things at once.

At most times I feel like a hapless circus juggler attempting to cope with 15 activities every hour. I say hapless circus juggler because the days when you juggle the balls just right, without having five of them come crashing down on you are actually very few and far between. But let me set record the straight. I can’t be anything but that circus juggler.

When I decided to stop making myself crazy doing a little bit of a lot of things with my best attention, I learned to use “Intentional multitasking” to stay on task,to prioritize my to-do list, know when to multitask and not to.

Now my kids get more undivided attention with lots of stories, hugs and kisses.Unrushed quality time just feels longer!
