I love the way you have first explained the painting, the background, the setting, context and the culture and traditions associated with it. Its a real discovery for those of us who only know of Bollywood India.

Your analysis of her situation is incisive and has a sort of yearning feel to it. You have portrayed so eloquently her dilemma and constraints. There are some other lovely Dravidian paintings by the same painter. Why don’t you do those too? Would love to read your analyses.
