Atocha Protocol IDO Guide: How to Stake $PAD to Become Tier User for Launchpad Participation?

This is a guide for the community to stake $PAD on pad.fi to be eligible to participate in the $PAD staker pool. This is useful for those who are not familiar with the NearPad staking mechanism and would like to participate in the IDO of projects on the Launchpad. Some of the projects have two pools which are the PAD staker pool and the Whitelist pool. If the community member would like to gain higher allocation for the IDO, the member can have both exposures.

Here, we have prepared a step-by-step guide for the community to maneuver.

Step 1: Go to https://pad.fi/launchpad/pools and click on Stake.

Step 2: Approve the staking smart contract to interact with your $PAD token. Choose Limited Approval or Unlimited Approval based on your needs. You can refer to Staking Guideline here: https://nearpad.medium.com/a-guide-to-staking-on-nearpad-11d8b24db6b5

Step 3: Once it is approved, proceed to STAKE. Make sure the amount is sufficient. The current minimum $PAD Staking amount is 1,000 $PAD for Tier 1.

Step 4: Tadaa! Done and congratulations to become the Tier 1 user. Proceed to the launchpad and participate in the IDO.

One Last Step is to Get Enrolled and wait for the Sales to start

Step 5: Head over to https://pad.fi/launchpad/staking or click Stake on the main page of LaunchPad (not DEX).

Step 6: You will see yourself shown as User Tier X (depending on how much you are staking). Click on Participate to get enrolled.

Step 7: Confirm the transaction. It is pretty cheap :)

Step 8: Tadaaa… you are officially enrolled for the IDO/TDE of Atocha Protocol! So now what’s left is to wait for the sales to kick start, which is on 10 May 2022, 0000UTC. Just proceed to key in the USDT amount, choose limit/unlimited approval for your USDT token and then swap it. Claiming will only be available after 25 May 2022, 0000 UTC.
