  1. Secret Garden (2010)
Starring: Ha Ji-won, Hyun Bin, Yoon Sang-hyun, Kim Sa-rang

Synopsis:

A rationalizing Cinderella story between Gil Ra-im, a stunt-woman, and Kim Joo-won, a high-end department store CEO. The story gets even more complicated and dramatic when Ra-im and Joo-won magically start switching bodies.

2. My Girlfriend is A Gumiho (2010)

Starring: Lee Seung-gi, Shin Min-ah, No Min-woo

Synopsis:

Cha Tae-woong is a spoiled young man with no interest in staying in college. Instead, Cha Tae-woong wants to become an action actor. His wealthy grandfather, wants Tae-woong to take his studies seriously & change his major from acting — that made Tae-woong slip away from his grandfather and find himself in the middle of nowhere on a late rainy evening. He unknowingly frees the legendary nine tailed fox known as “Gumiho”. Tae-woong fears for his life, but Gumiho just wants to be loved.

3. Big (2012)

Synopsis:

Gil Da-ran is a struggling substitute teacher trying to get her certificate. She is engaged to a kind and handsome doctor, Seo Yoon-jae; it is a fairy-tale-come-true until one month before the wedding. At the same time, Da-ran meets an 18-year-old transfer student from the United States, Kang Kyung-joon, who’s got an attitude. Kyung-joon gets into a fateful car accident with Yoon-jae and the two of them drive over the guard rail and into the deep waters. Yoon-jae tries to save Kyung-joon but in the process, Yoon-jae ostensibly dies and Kyung-joon ends up in a coma. Kyung-joon soon wakes up finding himself in Yoon-jae’s body.

Synopsis:

Do Min-joon is an alien that landed on Earth in the year 1609, during the Joseon Dynasty. In the present, he works as a college professor. With only three months left before his long-awaited departure back to space, he meets Cheon Song-yi, a famous Hallyu actress who suddenly becomes his next-door neighbor.

5. Gu Family Book (2013)

Synopsis:

Choi Kang-Chi is legendary gumiho that is half human and half animal. He struggles to live his life as a human and also falls in love.

6. The Master’s Sun (2013)

Starring: So Ji-sub, Gong Hyo-jin

Synopsis:

Joo Joong-won is the cold and distant CEO of Kingdom, a conglomerate that includes a major department store and hotel. He meets the gloomy Tae Gong-shil, who started seeing ghosts after an accident. Their lives take a new turn as they discover whenever Gong-shil touches Joong-won the ghosts that surround her disappear; after much pleading from Gong-shil to allow her to stay by Joong-won’s side in return she must help him recover a fortune that was stolen from him during a kidnapping attempt.

7. A Girl Who Sees Smell (2015)

Starring: Park Yoo-chun, Shin Se-kyung, Namgoong Min, Yoon Jin-seo

Based on Webtoon: A Girl Who Sees Smells by Seo Soo-kyung a.k.a Man Chwi.

Synopsis:

3 years ago, a man lost his younger sister in the “Bar Code” murder case. Since then he has lost his senses. A girl miraculously survived the “Bar code” murder case. Since then, she has lost her memory, but also has gained the ability to see smells.

8. W (2016)

Starring: Han Hyo-joo, Lee Jong-suk

Synopsis:

The series focuses on the eponymous fictional webtoon entitled W, written and illustrated by its legendary author and illustrator Oh Seong-moo which begins to function on its own, like a different world existing there. W became so famous in South Korea that even its printed versions became a best-seller there.

Synopsis:

Kim Shin a decorated military general from the Goryeo Dynasty is framed as a traitor and killed by the young king. Years after his death, he is cursed by the almighty to stay immortal forever and endure the pain of seeing his loved ones die as the punishment for the kills he committed in the wars to protect his country. He becomes an immortal goblin, helping people with his powers and being a kind man in spite of his grieving past. The only way to put an end to his immortality is the Goblin’s bride, whose aid in pulling out the sword will end his painful immortality.

10. A Korean Odyssey (2017)

Starring: Lee Seung-gi, Cha Seung-won, Oh Yeon-seo, Lee Hong-gi, Jang Gwang

Based on Chinese classic novel: Journey to the West by Wu Cheng’en.

Synopsis:

In 2017, Son Oh-gong (Sun Wukong) and Ma-wang (Bull Demon King) are in conflict with each other as they look for a true light in a dark world where evil thrives. From there, Son Oh-gong is bound to his protective role towards Seon-mi (Sanzang), the little girl he had met years ago. Having made a contract with Seon-mi 25 years ago, entitling her to seek help from Son Oh-gong whenever she calls him in exchange for letting him free, the two meet again in a fateful encounter.
