‘Accept’ing the Prenup Contract, by Attores
In order to finalize the prenup contract, both parties need to ‘accept’ it.
Accepting the contract is a 2-step process.
- Watch the Contract code
- Each party ‘Accepts’ the contract with their private key
Step 1 — To watch the contract code
In your Mist (Ethereum-Wallet), go to Contracts > Watch Contract
Put any name you want for the Contract Name- suggestion ‘My Prenup’.
For the Contract Address, enter the contract address from the contract which was deployed at prenup.attores.com
Next, go to GitHub and copy the Prenup.abi.json, past this into the json interface of the watch contract.
Click ok, and it will take a minute for the wallet to sync up. You will see a small amount of ether in the contract after it syncs.
Step 2 — ‘Accept the contract to sign the contract
You can now go to the contract in the wallet and sign it using the ‘Accept’ function.
Step 3 — Have the other party Accept the contract
Repeat step #2!
