I wonder about that. I am not going to disagree with you, but I do wonder. Are dark sensibilities really adult, or are we old coots underestimating children? I mean have you seen/read ‘Coraline’(Neil Gaiman)? That’s supposedly a children novel/movie. It scares the shit out of me. Speaking of children novels, I clearly remember reading Roald Dahl religiously. Have you ever considered how cruel Dahl is? Or original fairy tales for that matter.

Judging by my kids and my cousin, Doctor Who is still a kids friendly show. They eat it up anyway.
